"I live to do yoga and do yoga to live."
Denise Davis is the founder of MDC and Yoga Therapy. Denise has a license in Physical Therapy and has practiced for 15 years, she holds a 200 hr RYT, is a Reiki Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner, Certified in Thai Yoga Massage Therapy and is registered with the yoga alliance.
Denise was always drawn to yoga and has always incorporated a simple form of yoga with her patients. She became more involved in yoga when she noticed the beginning of arthritis in her knees. She found yoga so helpful within her own healing process that she since transitioned to become a yoga therapist.
Denise practiced the poses on a daily basis and was amazed at how quickly her pain and discomfort were relieved, her range of motion improved and, more importantly, how it brought her mind to a place of calmness and clarity. Not only did it help her accelerate her healing compared to other methods she knew for arthritis, but it also helped in healing her spiritual well being. "Yoga is like a therapeutic drug." If you can find a little time daily to quiet your mind, you can find peace. "Yoga is part of my daily ritual."
